Time, time time.

From the Goodbye brain, hello heart EP. Released on Monotonik.

Last song on the EP.
One bit Ulrich Schnauss, one bit Four Tet. Five bits Henrik.
Looking at the title, I’m not really sure what the song is about.

I remember that all three songs from the EP were composed on a piano. I like piano.
Things will eventually make sense.

From the Goodbye brain, hello heart EP. Released on Monotonik.

I had definitely given up on more complex productions like the ones on the last EP. I acctually finished this EP in the gruesome fall of 2003, shortly after releasing the other.
As always, sad but hopeful. Right, right?
You have something in your scowl.

From the Goodbye brain, hello heart EP. Released on Monotonik.

First track of the EP. Sampling things from my new home in Lund where I studied philosophy. I studied maybe one hour a week, spending the other hours on completley failing in school. Horray!
It's not the sweetness we’re after, it’s the sugar.

From the EP with the same name. Released on Monotonik.

I made this EP in a playful manner never using copy/paste. I want to work like that again..
A girl named My Larsdotter obviously sung Vincent Gallo on a minidisk recorder I lent her. I didn’t know and I didn’t care much for Vincent Gallo. Feel lucky Vincent.
Free at least.

From the It’s not the sweetness we’re after it’s the sugar EP. Released on Monotonik.

Being at the top of my producer-craze, I worked many months on this track. I was into details, and to the fine art of never being satisfied. Redo redo!
I liked Super Science very much. Oh, and Monitoba! Gottsta love him!
Transportation is bliss.

From the It’s not the sweetness we’re after it’s the sugar EP. Released on Monotonik.

I like this one!
The main instrument was improvised in five minutes and stayed unaltered. Despite this fact it took me months to finish the song. This was mostly due to the rythm section which I did about ten different versions of.
Love me!
Life on the rooftop.

Released on Monotonik.

Made with Reason during the strange summer of 2001. All kinds of love it's about.
My first release on Monotonik.
Soon enough.

Released on Kahvi Collective.

Ambient track with samples from a documentary on whale song.
My decision has no meaning.

Released on Fairlight Music.

I tried singing. Not a remarkable result so i stopped for a while.
Charlotta inspired me I think.
There is nothing in there. (cisum)

Released on Fairlight Music

I don't remember much about this song. I do however remember feeling quite miserable about everything. Horray!
In front of a daydreamer.

Released on Fairlight Music.
Soundtrack to the Fairlight PC-demo Daydreamer.

Strings and noice was and is a favourite. I got my little brother to utter words concerning classical dilemmas of mine. Still going strong on those. Horray!
Feels like sunday.

Released on Fairlight Music.

Leaving Reason and returning for good to Cubase, this song was born in 2001.
The solo part must be an ode to Pink floyd.
I always liked jazz too.
Rain Slows the Time.

Released and competed with at Assembly demoparty placing 2:nd.

This was by far my best finish at a demoparty. Placing 2:nd at the huge Assembly demoparty ment a lot in so many ways.
Christina Post made a great contribution with her vocals.
Do you remember how it felt?

Released and competed with at Assembly demoparty placing 4th.

This song almost overstates my love for melodies.
It was used by the awesome guys at Pleix in one of their videos.
Music by telephone voices.

Released and competed with at Hype demoparty placing 1:st.
Final Bliss release at Hype.

I remember being inspired by Telephone Tel Aviv. Listening to the song now I'm not sure in what way besides the title.
I used a lot of samples from the movie Pleasentville.
User Illusion Soundtrack.

Released and competed with at TRSAC demoparty placing 1:st.

Using only Cubase now.
I was heartbroke. Then not.
Also 9/11 had just occured.
It's all in there. Or not.
Probably not.
24 hour bedroom.

Released and competed with at Underscore demoparty placing 1:st.

In this song I used not only Reason, but also Cubase and actually a bit of Fasttracker 2. (stuttering vocals)
2001 was a really special year. My guitar was back and I was in love. This was a time I really loved the idea of the lonely bedroom/laptop musician. Screw bands. Screw Rock'n Roll.
Fighting flyboy deluxe.

Released and competed with at Hype demoparty placing 1:st.

At the age of 18 I could finally leave Fasttracker 2 as Propellerheads Reason had arrived. The possibilities were vast in comparison and the difference in sound was apparent.
I remember being awefully impressed with Quant’s music.
Post-dancing in the garage.

Released and competed with at Hype demoparty placing 1:st.

In an attempt to make Fasttracker 2 sound like something else I brought full quality samples and vocals from the great Christina Post to the track.
Christina did good, the Fasttracker with full quality samples didn’t.
Cassius probably inspired me.
Mysig Soffa.

Released and competed with at Hype demoparty placing 2nd.

Tired of Fasttracker 2, I again managed an ironically trustworthy 2:nd place at the Hype demoparty.
I don’t remember what the song was about, but the title entails that it probably does’nt matter.
Making a bomb.

Released and competed with at Remedy demoparty placing 4:th.

Released at Remedy in Stockholm, my biggest demoparty up until then, I was quite pleased with fourth place. I liked breakbeat music and artists like Chemical brothers. I remember meeting Zalza at Remedy. He made a chip song and looked wierd.
Who are they?

Released and competed with at Hype demoparty placing 2:nd.

My second official Fasttracker 2 module.
I got an electric guitar which got sampled a lot. I can’t remember the source of inspiration, but it’s quite clear that I spent many hours listening to Pet shop boys when I was little.
Silent waves.

Released and competed with at Pool Position demoparty placing 2:nd.

My first official release and my first demo party.
I was 14 years old and very serious. Moving from the wonderful Aegis Sonix on the Amiga I learned Fast Tracker 2 for PC in 1996, which I used to compose this song. Coming 2:nd in the music competition gave me much needed confidence.
